Pushpagiri Eye Foundation launched its third tertiary eye care hospital in the YSR district (Kadapa) on 20th February 2022, with the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is set to become the largest super speciality eye hospital in YSR Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh. The hospital boasts world-class infrastructure and state-of-the-art eye care facilities. From the day of its inauguration, patients started to access eye care facilities here. The patents of villages in three districts receive all eye care facilities, such as screening, diagnosis, and treatment benefits.

The hospital expanded its outreach operations to all six districts of Rayalaseema, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and supporters to reduce the backlog of visual impairment cases.

Over the past two years, PVRI Kadapa has had a significant impact, providing world-class eye care services to 45,690 individuals. Among them, a remarkable 19,730 surgeries were performed, making a significant impact on restoring vision and improving the quality of life for numerous individuals.
