Vishal Govindahari completed his MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad followed by a Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations in Ophthalmology from Pushpagiri Vitreo Retina Institute, Hyderabad. He then went on to pursue his fellowship in Medical and Surgical Vitreoretina and Uveitis from LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. He also holds the honor of clearing the International Council of Ophthalmology’s super specialty examination in Medical and Surgical Retina. His served as a consultant, vitreoretina and uveitis services at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Bhubaneshwar for a period of 18 months.

Dr Govindahari has a keen interest in Vascular conditions such as Diabetic and Hypertensive Retinopathy, Macular disorders such as Diabetic macular edema and various imaging modalities of the retina. He pursues clinical research pertaining various imaging techniques of the retina and has 15 peer-reviewed publications under his belt.
