We are in the process of starting paramedical Ophthalmic Assistant course in Ophthalmic Techniques to meet the demand of the same.
Training & Fellowship programs:
- Two Fellowships programmes, in comprehensive Ophthalmology and in Vitreo Retinal Services, started from 1st August 2008. This Fellowship program is for the Post M.S./DNBE/D.O./FRCS (ophth.) qualified candidates. The fellowship programme will be for 15 months and aims at training young ophthalmologists to become super specialists in the respective fields.
- Surgical Training in Small Incision Cataract Surgery & Phacoemulsification in Liaison with the M/s. Appasamy Associates, Chennai, has been initiated on September 2008 to update the surgical skills of practicing ophthalmologists in Andhra Pradesh and neighboring States. The training period will be four weeks and exclusively aims at imparting surgical skills in Small Incision Cataract Surgery.

Phaco Training Program
- We are conducting phaco training for trainees. In our phaco training program, our candidates are given one-to-one hands-on training.Recently two doctors completed their training successfully in our institute and were awarded Certificates.
